09: When he was over a year clean and on leave after the Benjamin Cyrus case, Reid returned the sweater to his mother. When Reid asked her why she’d given him the sweater, she replied. “A mother always knows, Spencer.” She wore that sweater a month later when the team was in Las Vegas for the Michael Bridges case and while Reid investigated Riley Jenkin’s murder.

08: He continued to wear it for the rest of the year, and even wore that sweater the night he went to check on Gideon, only to find the cabin bare.

07. After the event’s of “Revelations,” Reid found his mother’s sweater in his closet and started wearing it around the apartment. He even wore it out on cases. He knew it was an illogical thing to believe, but he felt that if he wore the sweater, his mother was there protecting him.

06: When his mother went home after the events of “The Fisher King” Reid found one of her sweaters in his suitcase when he returned to DC. It hung in his closet for most of the following year.

05: When she was hiding in Paris, Emily wrote letters to each member of the team. In these letters, she apologized for lying and told them how much she loved them. She kept them in an electronic safe and told JJ and Hotch that they were only to be delivered in the event of Emily’s actual death

03: Morgan feels the need to protect Reid, not just because he’s the youngest member of the team, but because he feels like Reid is the little brother that Morgan always wanted.

02: Reid keeps a small wooden box in his leather satchel. The box’s contents include Gideon’s letter, the empty vials of Dilaudid, various pictures of people from past cases (Adam Jackson, Sammy Sparks, Emily, Declan and Riley Jenkins), Reid’s drawing of Nathan Harris, a “white” wooden pawn chess piece and the beads he got from Julio. However, the most important one is a picture of himself and his mother and father taken during his last visit to Vegas.

01: For the first few nights after Haley died, Jack would wake up from nightmare in which George “The Bad Guy” would come back to hurt his daddy. But when he woke up from these nightmares, he would see his daddy sleeping next to him and felt better.
